Cardiff vs Crystal Palace Live Stream

Cardiff vs Crystal Palace Live Stream. For Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman, Tuesday night's Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Cardiff City is just a ‘small battle’, not really a war.

His club have previously won that, after all. In 2010 Palace survived a 10-point deduction for starting administration and avoided relegation to League One by drawing 2-2 at Sheffield Wednesday.

Under new owners CPFC 2010, a consortium led by fan and businessman Steve Parish, Palace left administration in August of this year.

Just 18 months on they take a 1-0 cause south Wales and are 1 hour 30 minutes from a Wembley cup final against Liverpool or Manchester City.

Freedman, 37, said: ‘To be around in such a short space of time is wonderful. We’ve held it's place in relegation zones but we’ve turned it around with the exact same squad.

‘They really are a number of players hungry for fulfillment after being knocked down for two seasons with regards to on-and-off-the-field experiences. They've got were required to have a lot when it comes to administration and it’s about these guys achieving something I usually knew they can.

‘Nothing could happen to this business. They’ve experienced a predicament where they haven’t been paid, didn’t know if the club would definitely exist and last-day relegations.

‘We’re not in a war - we’re in a small battle. We are enjoying ourselves. Nobody expected us to become here.’

Darren Ambrose, who scored the stunning 35-yard goal at Old Trafford that helped Palace to some 2-1 win against Manchester United inside the quarter-finals, is probably the Palace players back on their own feet after being knocked down in recent seasons. He came near joining Queens Park Rangers during the summer time of 2010 but signed a three-year deal at Selhurst Park instead.

The 27-year-old said: ‘It’s a great reward for everyone involved. We were in the bad place 2 yrs ago (when) the club was nearly not here.
‘For the last 2 yrs we’ve been fighting relegation and nearly gone out of existence so to arrive at the final will be a massive achievement for everyone.’

Freedman has tried to ease the stress on his team by trying to paint Cardiff because the perpetual bridesmaids who always fall at the last hurdle. Under former manager Dave Jones the Welsh side suffered defeats inside the play-offs against Reading and Blackpool and lost the 2008 FA Cup final to Portsmouth. It had been Freedman’s assistant, Lennie Lawrence, who oversaw Cardiff’s last success - the 2003 Division Two play-off victory against QPR. Cardiff City vs Crystal Palace Live Stream Free
